TOPIC: Rimfire Picture Thread

Rimfire Picture Thread 10 years 10 months ago #29

Let's start a rimfire rifle picture thread.
I'll go first.
This is my 30+ year old Marlin Glenfield Model 60 that I recently restored and customized. I stripped the barrel and receiver and painted them silver. Then I stripped the stock and custom inlaid some figured wood veneer and stained it.

The project was documented with a few photos that can be seen at this link

Nice project Kenny. This is my Mossberg 22. Picked up a couple weeks ago. Still need to break down and clean. So I can take it out and play.

Do you like the henry. I keep picking them up. Just haven't talked myself into buying one yet.

I love the Henry! It is very well made, and has a solid feel to it. It is also very accurate. I added a low-cost scope to mine and it works like a charm. The only issue with it is the loading of the tube, which is cumbersome to do by hand, but I purchased one of Henry's loaders where you pre-load 8 strings of 16 rounds (22LR) and with that it loads quick and easy.
