Really like my Springfield 1911. Don't shoot it much. A lot of trouble to break down and clean. Like that stainless look though

Nice. Stainless does make a pistol look good.

Nice looking gun as well. I love to shoot mine. Hate the breakdown & cleaning. 45 ammo not that cheap either.

Yes, the takedown on the Springfields is a bit awkward, but they are fine shooting machines! And I love shooting .45s!

Here's mine I learned to shoot with it and it takes down like any other 1911 on the market. I wouldn't say its complex just not as simple as a 226 or M9, but then the marines don't train to take your 1911 apart in a fist fight either... and for a reason.
